CloneZilla CD (20070205)
I got this error with the ahci kernel module on a Dell OptiPlex 320:
unexpected IRQ trap at vector b0
ata1.00: qc timeout (cmd 0xec)
ata1.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x104)
scsi1: ahci
scsi1: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)
The error message spammed a few times and hung for awhile. When it finally finished booting it didn't recognize the hard disk controller.
I was able to work around it by passing 'irqpoll' to the kernel line in grub. This should probably be addressed in future versions though or there may be more issues with newer hardware. I'm guessing a newer kernel would probably fix the issue.

Thanks for reporting this. Clonezilla live is based on Debian etch, therefore the kernel is 2.6.18. However, in the future, we will try to use a newer kernel, definitely.

A mode "Clonezilla live (failsafe mode)" is added in the boot menu in Clonezilla live 20070308 or later, maybe you can give it a try.
Thanks.
I just downloaded Clonezilla live 20070308 but I don't see this menu option.
Oops... my fault. It's the version 20070314 or later (now in testing).
