Systems are slightly different hardware, but the same size hard drive. Took all the default options for both the save and restore (with the exception of having to jump through an extra hoop to change the default ssh port). I used the same 1.0.10 testing CD for the save and restore. Upon reboot, my target system stopped with an Error 18 before it ever touched the kernel. Googling for Error 18 produced results that imply that when the system tried to reboot, the MBR on the restored copy was out of range of the area of the drive viewable by the BIOS. Now this system does have a rather old BIOS and I should update it - but is there a way to always ensure the MBR is at the beginning of the image/restored copy? It's not always possible to find a good valid BIOS for an older system.
Thank you, and thank you for a wonderful piece of software which almost always works quite well!

If you are restoring MS windows, maybe you can try to check "-t1" when you use restoredisk. Also maybe you can check this:
