I have Asus S200 which is kind of like a mini ultrabook with a touch screen.
When booting clonezilla, it boots fine to the first screen where I choose a language, progresses to keymap options (usually choose don't change keymap) and then as it goes to the main menu I start getting a USB error which scrolls to fast to get a accurate message but it looks like it has something to do with SIS HiD touch device so I assume the touchscreen doesn't get recongnised proper.
Pretty much what is happening,
The SiS HID touch device prompts USB disconnect, then it reconnects again.. it carries on looping like this every second or two which makes clonezilla unusable. Is there anything I can do try and stop clonezilla from trying to use the device as there is no way of disabling the touchscreen on the notebook itself.

Use the Clonezilla live version ..i486.. (without Hyper-Threading).
