Cloned one of my hard drives to an image which is stored now on a USB-connected hard drive. Wanted to delete the image on the USB hard drive (have moved it onto my NAS), but did not succeed. Always get notification that an error occurred and that I do not have the appropriate permissions.
Checked permissions of the individual files in the image and only "System" user has read/write. A user listed as "wheel" ??? and everyone else only has read. Have not found a way to change the "everyone" permissions to read/write for these image files (which will allow me to delete them).
Any ideas?
Thanks much in advance :-)

Did you try to remove those files as root?
