I do have a problem, which possible can be caused by my lack of knowledge, but for me it is a principal one. I have restored a C partition to the disk with C and D partition. when I wanted to use D which I had hope would stay untouched a computer said the drive D was not formatted and all data were lost. No damage was done, but in my opinion something went wrong - it should have stayed untouched. Am I wrong?

Oops… did you use "restoredisk" to restore an image saved from disk?
If so, it will re-create the partition table on the target disk, and it might cause such a problem…
Steven.

Thank you for advice, Steven , that was my first idea, but it was certainly not the case. I will have to do it again to be sure how it works, because it is a serious issue, but need more time to do so. I will let you know, Frantisek
