    Hello there,
I am having a serious problem i cannot solve in any way… I have a 500 GB Drive with my system and stuff. I have got a new drive now hybring 750 GB drive and i would like to clone my old drive to the new one.

The problem is, everytime it is trying to clone its partitions it says:

Target partition size ( 2 MB) is smaller than source (102400 MB). Use option -C to disable size checking (Dangerous).

    .

But i cant find the -C option in exprert mode.

Same thing shows when im trying to restore a disk image to my new drive. I dont understand it i even tried to format the 750 GB drive, its like he sees some partitions there that doesnt exist.

Im really confused about this and i dont know what to do. I tried enabling -icds havent helped.

Any help would be really aprichiated.

In your case use disk cloning.
At first make a backup of your important data.

Use a .zip file for clonezilla!
Take a 2GB SD card  , new formated with NTFS .

    Download among
    Browse All Files (!)
    clonezilla-live-2.0.1-15-i686-pae.zip
    All extract..
    go to folder 'clonezilla-live-2.0.1-15-i686-pae'
mark all extracted files and folders in it
    Send to .. USB_SD_card

    Go to USB_SD_card
    G:\utils\win32\makeboot.bat start with open
    #~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Clonezilla saving partitions:
Restart and press button Esc  to choice 'USB_SD_card'
    Start Clonezilla in standard mode
    :
    device-image
    local_device

      please insert USB device..

    Then you can see (example)
    sda1 vfat_Winre #diag for Win_7 recovery
    sda2 ntfs_Win_7 #boot
    sda3 ntfs_Data
    (sda5 ext4_Ubuntu12.04  )
sdb1 vfat USB_Flash_Drive ->to save a whole disk image or partitions for sda1,sda2,sda3,sda5

    sdb1 repository
Which directory is for the clonezilla image ..
    / Top_directory-in_the_local_device # use this
    firstFolder Aug-20
    secondFolder Sep-30

Beginner mode: Accept the default options
    save_local-partitions  as an image
saveparts: Input a name for the saved image to use
    2013-01-21-14-img
(*special note! Do not change to
         Y:\disk\2013-01-21-14-img  # it is a linux program)

    saveparts :
    sda1 ..GB_ntfs.. #diag for Win_7 recovery
    sda2 ..GB_vfat.. #boot
    sda3 ..GB_ntfs..
    :
    That's all for image saving.

The partitions of the new disk should be equal to or greater than the old partitions.
    Change with 'gparted live'.
