    Hi all,
I'm new and would you exuse me if i do something wrong...
I had used Live CD to create a clone of Windows PC on a USB HD. Cloning went OK.
Now I need to extract few files from the clone fileset.
Is there any way to do that via Clonezilla or Windows or Linux (Mint)?

I have tried to export Clonezilla image into .img file in Linux as per post here.

And it worked to a point where the process went to 14.15% and came with write error -1.
I copied Clonezilla fileset to another bugger USB HD just in case there are bad sectorson the original, but had the same error.

Any thoughts? Any way to access the files in the Clonezilla fileset?
    Thanks for looking :-)

    Hi, me again,

Just to add that I have tried with slightly differensyntacs as per this post here.

And it works to exactly 14.15% again.
I'm thinking perhaps there is a fauly file or cluster in my images... seems 14.15% is block 1048578.
    See attached pic.
Any thoughs how I can repaire the files?
    Thanks again.

    Regards

Guys, I have resolved it (by chance...)

I just spotted that the .img file the above created before the error was 4.7GB. Seeing that i checked the external USB drive i was using to create the .img file and guess what - it was Fat32...
Once i converted it to NTFS seems it went past 14.15% mark without errors.
So far 42.65% and going up.
So, I tried to create 29GB file on Fat32 drive... Great! 50.66% and still going..

Yes, the file size limt of FAT32 is too small for you. Using NTFS is the solution there.
