    Hello Everyone.

I am trying to clone an existing VM to a physical hard disk in another machine. This VM contains Zabbix on Cent OS.

Because of disk size restrictions/issues, I opted to do a Clonezilla copy from the VM to an image, and from the image to the physical drive. This cloning seemed to work, however now I am unable to boot into Cent OS on the physical drive. I've attached some photographs.

I'm not understanding exactly why it will not boot, but my understanding of Linux is probably not that great to begin with.

I see warnings showing that the /dev/cl/root , /dev/cl/swap, and /dev/mapper/cl-root do not exist
However, these 3 objects are present on the drive if you look at the other screenshot, which is an fdisk of the same drive.

I tried a lvm > pvscan, but the results are 'no matching drives found'.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

You need to have the drivers in the initramfs so that the OS can mount the root file system. Check this:
