I've used clonezilla to image/restore hard disks before, but this time I'm encountering a new error. I'm now trying to recover a server whose hardware we no longer have but whose disk image we made using clonezilla. Upon attempting to reapply the image, however (using all of the same, default options as normal), the following error is encountered:

Unknown Format for /home/partimag/<image name>/sda2.aa!!! Program terminated!

If anyone could provide some insight into this problem that'd be great. Thanks.

  as it turned out, it was a permission problem on the directory/files. All's well now.
