I cloned my Windows XP harddrive about 11 months ago because my old harddrive was starting to make funny sounds (click, click, click, pause… repeat click, click, click). I thought I followed the Clonizilla instructions properly, but when I removed my old harddrive and only had my new cloned harddrive in my system, I could not boot. So, I just kept using my old harddrive, with my new cloned harddrive still hooked to my mother board. I could see my new cloned harddrive and it looked like it cloned properly, but I guess not since I can't boot from it. Last week, my old harddrive got to a point where I can only boot-up once every 5 times I turn it on. So, I need help trying to get the harddrive that I cloned last year to boot up. I'm probably an intermediate computer user, so I can probably get system information if you ask.
Thanks,
Andrew

So if you are sure the file systems are cloned, then the problem maybe is only on the boot loader.
If so, try to use your MS Windows CD to boot and enter rescue mode to fix the boot loader.
