1)made an image of a partition (root partition of a Linux system) and checked it was restorable
2)selected on a new device an empty target partion larger than the original image and already formatted to ext4
3)tried to restore the image to that target partition above
4)it fails saying that the reason is that the target partition is different from the original partition and that I have to check the FAQ
5)so what do I have to check now,as I have no idea of what went wrong?
