i'm trying to make an image (backup) of a computer i'm going to re-install, but would like to backup the computer and files in case i need them in the future. i have a 64gb thumb drive, but the image is too big for it, i also have a 128gb thumb drive, but clonezilla doesn't recongize the drive. Is this 128gb flash drive a limitation to the computer? or to clonezilla? or is there another option (ie create image to two separate 64gb drives?
never mind, I used a Western Digital My Passport Ultra 1TB drive and it recognizes the drive. so, what is the maximum drive size possible? will a 2TB or even a 3TB work?
thanks in advance.

Unless your chipset on the motherboard is not supported by the Linux kernel in Clonezilla live.
Of course, 2TB or 3TB external disk should also work.
BTW, please also give testing Clonezilla live a try, like
