I have a PC with a two drive RAID 0 configuration (nvraid) and am trying to create a clone to a Firewire based external drive. Clonezilla goes through all of the processes just fine, messages indicate it sees the drives, then it quits with the message "No Input Device Found!". I use Clonezilla all the time for cloning over a network and have never had this error before. I have tried connecting the external drive with the USB port instead, but same error. I have even tried the Ubuntu "jaunty" based Clonezilla . . . still same error. Is the "Input Device" likely talking about the RAID array or the external drive?
Thanks for any help!
Greg
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The input device is the source disk or sour partition.
Maybe the device is not supported by the kernel, maybe it's because the device name is not /dev/[hs]d[a-z].
Could you please run in the command line prompt by:
sudo /opt/drbl/sbin/ocs-live-bug-report
after clonezilla has complained that it can not find the input device ?
Please post the file created by ocs-live-bug-report.
