I want to replace DOS and Ghost with linux and a cloning tool. This looks like the best one on linux.
But i can't make the drive bootable with the tools i got from your site... and i'd like to have a full linux on the HDD USB drive (120Gb).
Is there a way I can include the clonezilla tool as an installed program to my HDD linux that I plan to create?

I was thinking of installing an ubuntu minimal to a my HDD USB.
The goals of my project are:
-prepare a XP image with sysprep (like before)
-Boot with the usb hdd (or a clonezilla CD) and image the XP image, saving it to my USB HDD
-Use the USB HDD as a boot device to deploy the image to other PCs.
eventually, clone my USBHDD for others to use (with clonezilla :))

can anyone give me a tip on this?

When you mentioned "i can't make the drive bootable with the tools i got from your site", by which program did you use ? What's the error messages when it fails to boot ? You'd better to provide more info, in details, so that others can do something for you.
