Using the Samba option I created a backup on a NAS. I can see the directory and the files on the NAS.
But when I try to restore, I am not given a restore option.
I mount \\192.168.1.110\Backup\ and it works, but he can not see the backup.
When I restore from a USB drive, it works fine.
I need the NAS to work.
The location is:
\\192.168.1.110\Backup\2024-03-30-08-img\
The files in the folder:
dev-fs.list
Ivm_logv.list
Ivm_vg_dev.list
SangomaVG-rootxfs-ptcl-img.zst
Ivm_SangomaVG.conf
sda2.ext4-ptcl-img.zst
sda1.vfat-ptcl-img.zst
Any idea how to make clonezilla recognize the folder?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:

Did you mount "\192.168.1.110\Backup\" as /home/partimag/?

Yes, the same way I mounted it to create the backup.
I read something about trouble finding backups in the root directory (\backup is the root for that device), but these were old articles. I tried to move the backup to \backup\a but that did not handle it.

That's weird.
One thing I can guess is the image is for partitions (saved by "saveparts" in Clonezilla), but you want to restore it to a whole disk (i.e., "restoredisk" in Clonezilla)?
If not, then it must be a bug...

Then I have no idea why... So weird... It never happens to us.
Did you compare the one on the NAS to tat on your USB drive? The image are exactly the same?

No, full drive. Multiple partitions were saved in one image.
Again, it works on a USD drive.
