i am cloning 1000+ machine with clonezilla.
22 machines at the time.
Sometimes a machine hangs on this message:
lzop: invalid argument: (stdin)
The other machines continue running to run normally.
When we start a new session, the machine wich had a problem will work... (problem gone)
Any ideas what went wrong in the first run??
Best regards

Some mentioned such a problem before, and most of the cases are because of the network quality. I would suggest that:
1. check the network quality
2. use gzip instead of lzop
BTW, we are really interested in how long will it take to clone 1000 machines totally ?
Good luck.

Right now were doing about 440 machines a day. 1 batch (22 machine)
it takes about 20 minutes to pick up and get the computer wired-up.
Staging it and put it away again.
We run about 20 batches of 22 machines.

Cool!
Just curious, before you started to use clonezilla, which imaging tool did you use ?
Does clonezilla save you a lot of time or just because it's free ?
Thanks in advance.
