This new micro PC uses 2.5" SATA drive (laptop hdd) and no optical drive.
What would be the best practice in cloning this?
I was thinking about using the Clonezilla LiveUSB. Would it be possible to put the image on a USB stick, and load it to the other PC's? USB stick is 16GB and the HDD are 500GB.
The old way of using Clonezilla was to hook up the secondary HDD to the main PC and booting off a CD (copying from A to B).
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
"Would it be possible to put the image on a USB stick, and load it to the other PC's? USB stick is 16GB and the HDD are 500GB." -> It depends on the used blocks on the disk.
Another approach you can put the image on the network file system, i.e. NFS, samba server, or ssh server.
Steven.
