I have installed Fedora 10 x64, and the partitions are
setup as follows.
# Device Mount Point Size Type
*************************************
1 /dev/sda1 / 50G ext3
2 /dev/sda2 /mnt/2 145G ext3
3 /tmp 4G tmp
4 /dev/sda5 /image 33G FAT32
Don't ask me why it numbered the last one as "5".
FYI, "/dev/sda1" has approximately 15G used.
Anyway, I followed the prompts to clone /dev/sda1
to /dev/sda5. I was prompted to set a default mount
point for the folder/files generated on /dev/sda5. I was
also prompted to split the saved
files to "chunks", which I left the default of
2000MB. I also left the default compression of gzip.
Anyway, it finished, then stated a message in red that
it failed. I rebooted, and now "/dev/sda5" shows nothing
and will not even appear when I run "df". When I change
to "/image", nothing appears in the folder.
If I go into Volume Manager, it shows all volumes as not
initialized.
I was under the assumption that Clonezilla would simply
clone "/dev/sda1" to a set of files on "/dev/sda5".
Any ideas of what happened? I used Norton's Ghost
on an old Linux box along time ago to do this, and it
worked flawlessly.

When it stated a message in red, what the error messages around that ? Maybe show 20 lines above that to us.
Please also turn on "-nogui" so it's easier to catch the error messages.
