    Hello,
can someone could help me to clone quickly my PCs…
So my "master" is a lenovo L420 with seven.
The disk was originaly partitioned in 3 parts. (sda1=0.2/1.5GB, sda2=33.5/305GB, sda3=9.7/12.6GB)
I've tested a lot's of differents options (alternatively partimage/partclone/ntfsclone, compression Z1,Z1P,Z3, …., Z7, expert/beginers mode) and now i'was in the fog. Now each clone take 45min to save and 1H45 to restaure… It's so long for restauring at unicast.
I would like to do :
    - save my images to my windows 2008 server (connected in cifs)
    - the backup can take so much time, it's not important
    - the restaure action would be quicker as possible (in unicast)
What are the "Magic options" to restaure an image in 15minutes ?
Please help me I don't know what to do now.
    Think
    GBwin

Normally z1p will be the fastest one if you have multi-core.
However, this also depends on the media where you save to, e.g. if you save the image on a network server, due to the network bottleneck, it might be slow.
Therefore make sure the transmission speed is fast enough. Do not let it be the bottleneck.

    Steven.
