"Failed to restore partition image file ….. to ….. ! Maybe this image is corrupt !"

I found
Clonezilla image file looks up my case / home/partimag/2010-08-28-08-img/sd5* if I want to restore the partition sd5 but my backup was made from sd4 so the file is called sd'*
It's good if I go a restaurant on the same partition as the backup
It does not find the image if I want to do a restore on another partition
Is this normal?
Y there way around this problem?
Thank you for your help
René

Why does clonezilla tie its image files to the original partition and then give you options in the menus to choose another partition??? This caused me a great deal of grief.

Good point. It's because the disk/partition device is detected when client is booted. It does not use the device name from the image. It should be improved in the future release.
Please keep pushing us.
