Using wily in arch amd64.
Clonezilla reported 'cloned successfully', but when checking images reported broken, failed.
This happened twice.
Consequently I checked the drives with smartmontools and both reported no errors after long self-test.
I think that there is a bug in this version.

Since you are the only one reported this, I am assume this is hardware-releated issue.
Did you do a memtest there? Most of the cases about this kind of error are due to memory failure.
