I have made about 15 USB flash drives for our techs to use.  5 of them will show up fine in the BIOS of our machines, the rest will not.  When I test them on my laptop, every single one will boot, every single time.

I have tried reloading Clonezilla live on every single one of them.  The ones that don't work at first, continue to not work after reloading Clonezilla.  The ones that do work at first, continue to work after reloading Clonezilla.

The ones that don't work at first don't work on any of our machines, but work on my laptop.  That ones that DO work at first DO work on every one of our machines.

What am I doing wrong here?  I'm using Tuxboot and have tried downloading the .IMG from the servers as well as using an already downloaded .IMG of Clonezilla.

So I've now tried to make the flash drive on another computer and it's still not working.  These are the same flash drives.  8GB DataStick Sport.  First batch purchased works.  Second batch, purchased roughly a week later from the same location, doesn't work.

Maybe the issue is on the hardware. Here we experienced some of the chipsets does not work very well for USB booting.
If you are sure it's not hardware issue, you can try this:

and pay attention to the TIPs.

    Steven.
