I have a clonezilla based usb pendrive that installs Windows and Mac osx onto my netbook that was made by someone else.
I want to make a backup copy of this direct to another usb pen that can be a spare if the original fails.
Ive tried all sorts of methods but it just doesnt work.

How would I copy this image from the orginal usb pen drive to another and make it bootable?

Ive tried making the image an iso and imaging it to the stick via magic iso and other iso software.
Also ive tied using transmac with iso and also dmg images. Ive also tried using winflash, Norton ghost and some other software thats name doesnt spring to mind right now.

So I still have no idea where Clonezilla went wrong there. You did not mention any error messages so it's very difficult to know what's going on there…
