trying to get clonezilla running but get mismatch gpt and mbr partition error. tried using sgdisk -z as described in the log as well as a gdisk fix found here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18545787 after trying both - I end up with a blue screen when booting windows (W7) which is thankfully restored using windows startup repair.

anyone have any ideas where to go from here? really do not want to reformat/reinstall W7 but at this point, if that is my only option i will. but obvioulsy do not want to go this route if it will not help either.

Currently i have a multiboot setup: win7, win8.1, and win10. 8.1 and 10 are messed up at the moment and not really concerned if they cannot be saved (would prefer but not a big deal). My primary Win7 OS is contained on a separate SSD from the othe OSes so i dont think it even matters.

    running clonezille se via pxe

    TIA

I've got same trouble. I hope there would be another solution instead reinstall windows.

but if not, what the way to avoid this trouble again?

Not sure if your systems (Win7, 8.1, and 10) do need both GPT and MBR.
If so, then Clonezilla will have problem to save the image for you.

    Steven.
