My first try:
I would like to clone an 120GB system-partitition (WIN-XP) from a 1TB Disk to another disk with the same partitition size and it should bootable. Original disk with 2 partititions 120GB and 880 GB, clone disk with 120GB, 500GB, 380 partitition. I only want to clone the 120GB part. All other parts untouched.
I tried it but the clone won't boot. What switches should be marked for a working windows partitition clone?
Thx

I'm not a Clonezilla expert but I have some thoughts that might be of value until one comes along. Did you clone the MBR and write it to the new disk? It is an optional step you can select in either in making the image or in restoring or, I believe, both. I'm not certain, but I think if you did not, that may be your problem. I believe the MBR is where the computer gets the instructions that tell it where to look for a bootable partition. I don't think overwriting the MBR of the new disk would imperil data on the other partitions as I believe the partition table is a different animal. But you might want to go to Wikipedia and study partition tables, MBRs, and boot sectors to be sure 'cause its been a while since I studied it and I might be mistaken.
