Before people flame me for not searching , i did but could find what i was loooking for.

I have an external HDD which i would like to clone to an internal drive. I dont want to mess this up as i only have the one external drive with the info i need on it.
Is there a guide for using clonezilla to clone from the usb external drive to the laptop internal drive?
I thank anyone in advance who can point me in the right direction.

At first I think you have made a
    backup of important data.
    With clonezilla-live-2.0.1-9-i686-pae (…?)
could you make the images and see the settings.

All partitions of internal HDD should be equal or greater than of the external HDD (!)
    otherwise look at
    http://drbl.org/faq/fine-print.php?path=./2_System/25_restore_larger_disk_to_smaller_one.faq#25_restore_larger_disk_to_smaller_one.faq

Then you should have got an external USB device for the images
    2012-12-07-..-img-from-internal-HDD..GigaByte (?)
    2012-12-07-..-img-from-external-HDD..GigaByte-for-internal-HDD (?)
In all images can we seen important details:
    - inf-saved-by-cmd.txt
    - sda-pt.parted.compact (or similar)
    - sdb-pt.parted.compact
    etc.
