I tried to clone multiple machines with clonezilla server edition without positive results.
The problem comes out when the clients are getting cloned.
I used the restoredisk with the k1 option and when the clients starts to restore the image this error pops out:
Partclone v0.2.90 http://partclone.org
Starting to restore image (-) to device (/dev/sda1)
read image_hdr device_size error
I used Static ip configuration with multicast clients to wait.
Please nsomeone help me!

You can try something like this: https://clonezilla.org//fine-print-live-doc.php?path=clonezilla-live/doc/11_lite_server

It worked!(I tryed with one client)
Thank you so much! i also have a problem with a single type of pc, even cloning with the standard clonezilla software.
I got this error message:
unable to find target hard drive : "sdb" !!!
check if this hard drive really exists, or maybe (1) the kernel is too old (2) the image was not saved from this disk (p.s. you can use cnvt-ocs-dev to convert the image to a different disk device name. for more info, check "cnvt-ocs-dev --help".): sdb

"Partclone v0.2.90 http://partclone.org" -> It seems you used the old version...
Have you tried to use Clonezilla lite server, say using Clonezilla live 3.1.2-22 or 20240408-noble and follow this to do that:
https://clonezilla.org//fine-print-live-doc.php?path=clonezilla-live/doc/11_lite_server
Download Clonezilla live here:
https://clonezilla.org//downloads.php
Clonezilla lite server is much easier than Clonezilla SE.

OK, great. It's nice to hear it worked for you.
As for your 2nd question.
Your source disk is saved from "non-/dev/sdb", and you use lite server to restore it in the netboot clinet?
If so, you have to convert the image for your destination disk in the client.
Check this:
