    Hi,

I am using the stable build of SE, but find it not trust worthy.  Did I do something wrong?  Here is my test:

    Issue #1:
1 . Set up SE on one Fedora 11 VM.
    2.  Stand up an XP VM.
    3.  Use Clonezilla to save the XP disk.
    4.  Create a new windows VM and use Clonezilla to deliver the image to the blank VM.
    5.  The new VM DOES NOT BOOT!!!  It keeps blue screening and rebooting.
    6.  Try many times and ALL FAIL.

Issue #2 with the same Clonezilla server:
    1.  Stand up a Fedora VM.
    2.  Try to save the image to the server.
    3.  The save worked only the third try.  First two reported error and halted.  I end up having to reboot the VM and rerun the dcs (stop/start).

I am not sure what's going on, but it does not look promising as a reliable replacement to ghost so far.  Please help.

    Thanks,

    Frank

Make sure the VM you created use all the same config. MS windows XP is very picky about hardware.

      Steven.

      Thanks Steven,

I am not sure what's the problem.  I did a fresh build of Windows 2003 and it works.  I was able to push out two multi-cast images at the same time without getting an error today.  Now I agree that the XP image machine has something that makes it different although I cannot see the differences.  But in some cases, I still get the "something is wrong" error when taking the image on a perfectly built Fedora.  I will keep am eye on it.

      Thanks,

      Frank

OK. Let us know if if find the problem is reproducible.
        Thanks.

        Steven.
