I had created an image using clonezilla, while restoring it I chose my externel HDD as my source for image, then in the next step where I am supposed to choose the folder containing image, there I cannot see the image folder while other folders are present there. My image folder doesn't contain any spaces still I cannot see it there. Please help, its really important for me to restore this backup.

Hi,

My image folder doesn't contain any spaces still I cannot see it there. Please help, its really important for me to restore this backup.
Please run:
find /home/partimag -print
then post the results. We need the files list under /home/partimag/ so that it's easier to diagnose.
Steven.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. As I told you, I cannot set the image directory. So when I run this command right after I set the keymap. I get this result:-
/home/partimag
When I have set any temporary folder as partimag (not the image folder) I would get result like this:-
/home/partimag
/home/partimag/desktop.ini
/home/partimag/UP [2009].mkv
Here I choosed the folder containing UP movie files, thats why the result showed it.
Please help me resolve this issue ASAP.
Thanks,
Pramod

Your description is still too vague to me. Maybe you can take photos then post it?
Or did you mean the images are gone? You can not find them?
Steven.
Yes! I cannot find the image, but the image is actually present there. Clonezilla doesn't show the folder which contains image.
PS: There are no spaces in the name of folder.
There should have been image folder but it isn't there
Steven - I have the same problem, I have just posted in the "Help" group. Shall I run this command and post here or in my own question?
--Edit: Resolved - chose wrong folder on restore
