Over the past several Clonezilla releases, I’ve noticed that the GUI looks quite different from screen to screen — fonts, layout style, and the overall visual approach seem to vary. The first screen or two look noticeably different from the later screens, which use more polished extended‑ASCII graphics.
I remember someone else mentioning this about a month ago, but I haven’t seen any updates, so I wanted to ask:
Is this variation expected, or is it the result of changes in Clonezilla or one of the upstream components it relies on?
I’m mainly trying to understand whether this is a known issue or something that would be helpful to report in more detail.
Best regards,
Ken

Thanks for your feedback.
"The first screen or two look noticeably different from the later screens" -> I believe you meant the keyboard layout and language selections TUI. Maybe you can take some photo and share that?
If that's the one, yes, on some higher resolution screen it will distorted I noticed that. This is due to the package switch from jfbterm (no more in Debian repository) to fbterm. We haven't find a good way to deal with that.
