Same here, but I guess it's a minor bug they will sole soon in the next releases.

Thanks for the bug report. This is kernel-related issue, and the later updated kernel will fix this issue. Please try the newer testing Clonezilla live when it's available. Thanks.

Weird... I can not reproduce this issue with Clonezilla live 2.6.0-24 amd64 version.
Could you please describe the whole steps in detail so that we can try to reproduce the problem here?
    Thank you very much.

    Well, I follow these instructions:

    1. Other modes of Clonezilla live
    2. Clonezilla live (Default settings VGA 1024x768)
    3. Before the menu to select the language appears, the system starts speaking (in English)
    4. I choose the language that appears selected by default.
    5. I choose the keyboard layout by default.
    6. Next I choose Start Clonezilla.
    7. device-image-> Local-dev and press ENTER to continue
    8. After scanning menu devices, press ctrl-C to continue.
    9. The menu to mount / home / partimag appears.
    10. I choose the resource
    11. In the Opensoure Clone System (OCS) menu, I choose the Beginner mode and savedisk option
    12. I enter the name for the saved image
    13. I choose the local disk as the source
    14. In extra parameters, I choose -fsck-y (check and repair source file system before saving)
    15. In the next menu, Yes, check the saved image
    16. Not to encrypt the image
17.In the action to perform when everything is fisished: -p poweroff
    17. The summary appears to use the command command directly the next time.
    18. Press ENTER to continue ...
    19. Mount the partitions that are going to be saved.
    20. Are you sure you want to continue?
    21. I select YES and when the backup finishes, the menu appears to choose between restarting, turning off ...

Thanks. OK, I confirmed this issue, and I was able to reproduce this following your steps. It was fixed in the git repository, and will be used in the next testing release.
    Appreciate.

Hi. I can confirm that with version 2.6.0-26, the poweroff bug is fixed. Thank you.

I only have to tell the program not to speak, but I do not know how to do it.

Oh, forgot the speaking problem. Normally it will only be triggered when the boot paramater "speakup.synth=soft" is added. We had similar problem, but it's only on some specific type of machine. I guess this is Linux kernel-related issue. Could you please give alternative testing Clonezilla live a try, i.e., 20181204-disco and 20181204-cosmic:
    https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
I'd like to make sure if it's kernel-related issue.
Please let us know the results if you try that. Thanks.

Hi. Well, I've done the tests and I can comment on the following:

With the clonezilla-live-20181204-cosmic-amd64 version, the program does NOT speak by default. That is what I want.

With the version clonezilla-live-20181204-disco-amd64, the program speaks by default, just like the version clonezilla-live-2.6.0-26-amd64.

I have not tested with both versions if the problem of automatic shutdown is fixed.

    I hope I helped you.

Thanks. It helps a lot. I also confirmed this speacking issue, and it can be reproduced on Lenovo x260 and MacBook Pro. We will dig more about this.
    Appreciate.

OK, I found this issue is due to that espeakup >= 1:0.80-11 has automatically start the service:
    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=911120
This issue was fixed in Clonezilla live >= 2.6.0-27 or 20181206-disco:
    https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Most of the cases we tested here are in the virtual machines, so the audio was not found to work like this.
Please give it a try and let us know the results. Thanks.

    Hi. Good Morning.
I have tested version 2.6.0-27 and now all bugs are fixed. Thank you.

In a while I will open a new thread with a bug that I detected a long time ago and that persists.

Let's see if I can explain it well so you can detect it and reproduce it.

Thankfully, although I am a Spanish-speaking user, the Google translator is helping me a lot so that you can understand me.
