I am trying to deploy massively with bittorrent.
Initially it seems to work correctly but after few seconds, presumably after the first small partition has been restored, the clients start to show some warnings (see attachement) and then the clients start to show some logs/instructions like it completed the restoration of the whole disk and the they reboot.
(I am restoring via bittorrent from an image. I have used the Clonezilla version stable - 3.1.0-22 and also 20230608-lunar but the behaviour is always the same)
Is there any option or procedure that i should take care to complete the restoration of the whole disk?
Could you help us to make sure the process is succesful or not?
Do you mean "BT restore is not completed, but clients are rebooted"?
Or "it's all fine, just warning message that you had some concerns but not sure about that?"
By the way, in BT mode, all partitions are restored at the same time. (you could use pageup/down and arrow up/down to scroll the screen to see other partitions' progress)

Thanks for reply.
As said, all clients rebooted prematurely like they finished the restoration of whole disk.
(Note: on clonezilla lite server i set to reboot clients after job complete)
After reboot the computers, of course, wern't able to boot into windows.
So the correct answer to your question is:
"BT restore is not completed, but clients are rebooted"
After BT restore failure i tried to restore the computers with multicast option and everything worked as expected. That means that the original clonezilla image is working correctly.

In your screenshot.
ezio_ui.py stops three torrent (It shows 3 times "PauseTorrent")
So you have 3 partitions, right?
and only ezio_ui.py will shutdown the ezio daemon (that will show the shutdown and remove torrent warning in your screen.)
So currently, I will say your restoration is corrent and proper.
Because ezio_ui.py will only shutdown the ezio daemon while all torrents are finished and paused.
But it's weird, it only took 2min (124s) to finish all stuffs.
And all 3 torrents were paused at the same time (almost).
I will guess there are some issues in Clonezilla's script that causes "BT from-image" function incorrect. (e.g. convert disk image to BT image incorrectly, or create torrent incorrectly.)
@Frank could you provide this image to @steven_shiau to test it?
I couldn't reproduce this issue in my env, even using "BT from-image".
I thought it might be related to the image that you used.
thanks a lot.

I can share the the image in some way but only privately (not shareable publicly) but it is almost 250GB. Can i give you the download link of the folder/image through private message?

@Frank,
Please give testing Clonezilla live >= 3.1.1-7 or 20230706-* a try: https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
This issue should have been fixed.
Please let us know the results. Thanks.

You can ignore that. We will try to suppress those warning messages in the future release.

@Frank,
Yes, if you can, please share the image so that we can try to reproduce this issue.
Thanks.

@Frank,
Yes, sure. Please email me at steven@clonezilla.org.
