    I'm using Win 8 32-bit and . . . clonezilla-live-2.2.2-37-i486.iso

    Clone the boot loader? . . . y / Enter . . . what is this?
    5/18/14 try "no" next time

I'm wondering that, if I say no:

When I test a clone made to a SATA drive (I get no error when I test an IDE drive),
will this get rid of a blurry blue screen I see, with this error message?
    kernel_data_inpage_error

When I re-attach my original configuration of two SATA drives,
will this get rid of the blue screen I see, with this error message?
    system thread exception not handled

I just have to power off, reboot, and these error messages disappear.

As for boot loader, you can find answers on Wikipedia.
Clonezilla just clones the disk for you, however, if the hardware is different, your cloned OS should take care of it. For GNU/Linux, normally it's not a problem. However, for MS Windows, you might get BSOD.
