Hi,
Cloning local disk to local disk at the end of process end up with chroot error. https://ibb.co/dCQePw
When booting from new drive ubuntu server 16.04 system log me into guest session and I am not able to do anything. https://ibb.co/bVR8HG
(As far I remember in the past I had to reinstall server gui due to some issues.)
What I noticed that server preserve orginal name from my old disk and that's what I know about this issue.
Old disk 350GB with 2 partition each around 150GB + swap 8gb https://ibb.co/h7mm4w https://ibb.co/fidcBb
New disk 2TB Clonezilla create two partitons each about 900GB + 8 GB swap. https://ibb.co/mrqDjw
I thought clonezilla will create exact partitions and leftovers will be unallocated....
I have tried both versions of clonezilla
stable - 2.5.2-31 - dedicated for debian and I had same result as for ubuntu alternative stable - 20170905-zesty
Any advice is much appreciated.
Did you try Clonezilla live >= 2.5.5-19 or 20180102-*? http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php Any differences?
Steven
