Hi,
I successfully imaged an SSD drive with Clonezilla Live and created a tar file, as per instructions, due to the image file being too large for an iso (12Gb). The file was too big for a 7zip file to make a usb-flash recovery stick hence it swapped over to the tar compressed format.
I attempted to install this file on a 16Gb Flash Drive using Tuxboot and though it took a while it threw no errors.
On trying to boot up the laptop with the Recover Flash Drive (to check it works) it briefly flashes up the beginnings of a boot menu then reverts to booting from the local hard drive instead.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks

Which file system do you use for your USB flash drive?
