It's very useful to have Memtest86+ on Clonezilla live DVD, to test RAM before cloning. What do you think about adding Hardware Detection Tools too? It's useful to quickly detect which hardware you are using before cloning (32 or 64bit processor, disk size...).

We have very limited manpower in this project. Since HDT is an abandoned project and it's not available in Debian repository, I do not think it's a good idea to include that in Clonezilla live.
Or maybe you can find similar one which is active in development and in Debian repository? If so, please describe that and let us know how to use that. We will consider.
