I'm having problems with cloning a server. After inserting Clonezilla Live CD (1.2.2-xx, maybe 22, retrieved 2 weeks ago) the choose menu appear as usual but when I select Clonezilla (1024x768, 800x600, 640x480, failsafe) the system freeze and I have to reboot manually.
I've read some post and maybe it's a ACPI problem.
How to deal with it? There's some flag to set? Should I use the latest Clonezilla Live (1.2.2-27 or Jaunty)?
Cloning/restoring 3 HDDs in RAID is troublesome with Clonezilla?
Thank in advance for your answer
Server specs:
Motherboard: SuperMicro X5DL8-GG
Processor: Xeon 2.66 GHz x 2
RAM: 2 GB
HDDs: 6 disks split in 2 raid array (3 +3), Mylex AcceleRAID 170
Note: I'm pretty new to Clonezilla but I'm very impressed.
I've successfully cloned and restored the disk of a Dell Laptop, cloned my personal laptop (old Acer Aspire 1355) and a PC. Now I have some problems with this server but I think it's doable with the right settings/flags

I'm gonna try Clonezilla live 20090727-jaunty.
In the unfortunate case it doesn't solve my problem, is there a combination of setting, command lines or flags that can bypass ACPI, something over the "failsafe" option of the screen menu?

When you boot Clonezilla live CD, once the boot menu is shown, you can press "Tab" to append the boot parameters. For example, you can append "acpi=off noapic" in the 1024x768 menu.

I think it's kernel hardware support issue. I suggest that you can give Ubuntu-based Clonezilla live 20090720-jaunty a try. Maybe it helps.
