Hi, downloaded last clonezilla -live-1.2.2-14 and tested it on a old 3.4GHz PC with 80 MGB, 2x160 GB SATA disks running XP Home and opensuse 11.1
on 80GB disk:

I can find a devices of s626 but clonezilla-live analyses it for hours.

Clonezilla nor TrueImage Home 2009 from Acronis (inode 256 from opensuse) work for backup.

I make backup with hdclone 3.2.8

    I guess this is kernel support issue. Could you try testing Clonezilla live (1.2.2-24) or alternative (Ubuntu-based) Clonezilla live (20090701-jaunty) ?

    I have tested ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE HOME 2009 and it works also with inode 256 filesystems
