#372 v2.7.3-19 Boot Failed
Attempted to boot Clonezilla live CD v2.7.3-19 686 version on Dell D630. Let the timer run out to default boot of Clonezilla. Received multiple errors:
buffer I/O error on dev loop0..
BOOT FAILED!
BusyBox v1.30.1..
Repeated above with live CD v2.7.3-19 AMD64 version. Same error messages, same BOOT FAILED! etc.
Ran h/w tests on D630 including MemTest86; all passed..
Downloaded Clonezilla 2.6.7-28 686. Made live CD. System booted Clonezilla without error. Was able to clone entire filesystem from old SSD to new SSD.
NOTE: ISO images were downloaded and compared against checksum; ok. CDs burned using CDburnerXP with verify set; ok. Same procedure was used for making all aforementioned live CDs.
I don't know how to save a log of the boot. Please advise.
" buffer I/O error on dev loop0.." -> Have you tried to use USB flash drive to boot it? Sometimes the issue is on the CD compatibility.
