#295 clonezilla libve ISO stalls at startup in Ubuntu

I am using Clonezilla live iso as a startup entry of GRUB-2 on my Ubuntu 16.04 machine.
It works very well and I am able to switch to Clonezilla and perform a disk image of the vital parts of my installation to a HDD.
I installed the last stable version of Clonezilla yesterday and there is now an issue: Clonezilla iso launches OK but the process stalls at one point and waits almost one minute (which it did not in the previous versions) for DRMs and then LOGITECH HID device.
What is happening and how can I avoid these delays?

Please give testing Clonezilla live a try, like >=2.5.5-37 or 20180321-*:
http://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
They come with newer Linux kernels so it might help.

Hi Steen,

Thanks for your response.

I tried two different Clonezilla versions in the Testing branch and it
did not work either. I took /real/ photos of the screen to let you
understand what is going on.

Version 2.5.5-37

Startup is OK, then stumbles on this for minutes:

Then I type ENTER and I get this:

I had to reboot the computer as it was completely stuck.

Version 2180321

Same exact thing except it does not stop exactly at the same location.
