Hello, I've used Clonezilla for many years. I've got a new Dell XPS 9560 and installing Debian. Whenever I clone my install, the system will no longer find/boot UEFI. It's like the cloning of the sytem kills the UEFI boot info. Any suggestions?
Try out the alternative-testing distributions. Always use savedisk to save the complete disk, instead of using partclone for single partitions.
But those are general hints, because I don't use a Dell XPS 9560. We are using UEFI computers of ASUS or HP.
Yep...I always use savedisk. Next time I have an opertunity, I'll try the alt-testing. Thanks
" It's like the cloning of the sytem kills the UEFI boot info. " -> Did you mean the boot entry in the uEFI boot menu? Or?
