I just attempted to make an image with clonezilla live (stable version).

I got all the way to the screen where I was to pick the source partition for the image. I was given the choice of three partitions, which is correct. My system has three physical drives containing 4 partitions. The ICH10R storage controller is in raid mode, but there are no raid arrays currently set up. I did not see anywhere to load raid drivers.

I selected the partition I wanted to mount and it appeared to be doing something, but the result was the same screen repeating over and over again. The cancel button also resulted in repeating the same screen. I had to do a hard restart to get out of the loop.

I also notices that there is no exit option on the initial clonezilla screen (at least I couldn't find one). I had to hard restart on this screen once and it resulted in a checksum error in my bios and it needed to be restored.

Is this a bug or did I do something incorrectly. I took digital pictures of the process and I will post them for you if you want them (if they came out that is).

I have recently used both acronis and R-drive to image and restore my system, so I don't think there is anything wrong with my setup.

Thanks,

Lowell

Did you use "space" key to mark your selection ?

The red box was active next to the partition that I wanted to image, so I assumed that that was the partition selected. You are saying that you have to key <space> to mark the partition?
