    this problem may be caused by symlinks.
    appears on both branches
    20150608 vivid works fine all ubuntu after that do not.
    looks like the latest Debian also does not handle symlinks on ssh server either.

    So did you mean on the remote server, your /home/partimag is a symlink file? If so, please try to manually run sshfs command by adding "-o follow-symlinks", i.e.,
    sshfs -o follow-symlinks user@server: /to/mnt/point /home/partimag/
