Clivon YouTube Desktop is not just another wrapper. It is a re-engineered consumption engine built on Tauri v2 and Rust.

We rejected the industry standard of bloated Electron apps (which eat 500MB+ RAM for a simple tab) and built a Native Window Architecture that gives you the raw performance of a system browser with the utility of a dedicated application.

🖱️ The Floating Dock

Hover near the bottom center of the window to reveal the Floating Dock.
* Home: Instantly reset to YouTube Home.
* Mini: Launch PiP.
* Tabs: Manage multiple video streams.

📦 Installation

Windows

Download the latest .msi installer from our Releases Page.

Note: Windows SmartScreen may prompt you. Since this is an open-source tool, click "Run Anyway".

macOS

Download the .dmg image. Drag to Applications. Done.
