I've watched Cliff's presentations and I understand the whole issue with his lock-free hash, I have looked over the clisp implementation and identified some of the relevant parts I still need to work on figuring out the implications of the GC in this picture. I see clozure[0] has already implemented this, with some modifications and I've also found a C implementation of this algorithm on the gcc wiki[1]. I'll keep in touch.
