wondering if this was ever resolved and commited to CVS.
FYI, I applied and tested Dan's patch on my Debian system and it works
however I think he left out lldiv() which isn't an issue for me
... but it would be nice to have the patches in CVS as I have a number
of separate installations of CLISP all running the CVS head and it is
much easier to just do the CVS update. presently i have to limp along
w/ the patched copies.

No problem John, I'm glad it works for you!
Yeah, I'm aware of the lldiv() problem, see my prior
post for an explanation of it. Sometime tomorrow I'll
either insert the fix (which is a one-liner, but the
question is where to put it) or decide to leave it
unfixed for the moment. Then I'll reissue the patch as
a context diff so it can be committed to CVS.
