Initial Comment:
Please use the Javaapp plugin to deliver a "all-in-one" executable 
jar. This is meant as direct replacement of the uberjar. This will 
also solve issue #1022920

Great! Just forgot to mension, that its available at the 
maven-plugins.sf.net site ... just put it as dependency into your pom.
