I would like to compile and use the CLIPS engine on Redhat/CentOS. But I do not want to use Java or JNI. I need to use the engine from within a C++ application. Is there a way to compile and use CLIPS on Redhat/CentOS (specifically looking for a makefile without any JNI components in it)? Any rpms already available? thanks for you help in advance.

There are makefiles available in the 6.24 downloads in the file make_and_help_files_624.zip. There is no rpms available.
