Depending upon the feature, some functionality could be incorporated into the existing CLIPS IDEs (Windows, macOS, Java Swing). Managing breakpoints on rules would be fairly trivial to add, but setting breakpoints in the actions of rules and being able to step through them would be a significant undertaking.

Is there (or is there anything planned) for a Clips debugger to be integrated into an IDE (e.g. VS Code)?
I'm thinking of complex features like breakpoint management, or running the "current" code from the IDE.
If not, do you have any suggestions on how to develop such tools?
