#8 git cvsimport and massive tweak attack

I've imported the CVS repo into git and made some tweaks to bring the software up to date: added autotools build system, various minor updates for the moving target that is GCC, flush err.c in favour of libc version thereof, etc. Also added a debian packaging subdirectory. Available at git://github.com/barak/clippoly.git. Would welcome further patches, backports to the sf CVS repo, contact with users, and whatnot. Considering uploading it to debian, so ivtools can be built with clippoly enabled; would welcome thoughts on that as well.
